Our Journey

Roots in Craft (1995–2012)

Long before PlainMood became a fashion brand, our journey began in Tiruppur — one of India’s most respected knitwear hubs.

Our early years were shaped by hands-on experience: understanding fabrics, fits, stitches, and the small details that define how a garment actually feels when worn. This foundation continues to influence everything we create today.

We didn’t learn fashion from lookbooks.
We learned it from experience.

The Brand Takes Shape (2013)

As the modern Indian wardrobe evolved, so did expectations. People wanted clothes that felt honest — well-made pieces that balanced style, comfort, and individuality.

In 2013, PlainMood was introduced as a brand focused on that balance. The goal was clear: create everyday apparel that feels good to wear, looks relevant, and stays accessible — without unnecessary noise or complexity.

The Digital Chapter (Since 2017)

In 2017, PlainMood expanded into online retail, connecting directly with a growing community across India.

Over time, our collections evolved to include plain, slogan, and graphic t-shirts, along with hoodies designed for everyday wear. Each drop represents a different mood — calm, expressive, bold, or minimal — while staying rooted in comfort and quality.
