By placing an order on PlainMood, you agree to the terms below.
1. Eligibility for Returns
Returns are accepted only if all of the following conditions are met:
✔ Return request raised within 7 days of delivery
✔ Product is:

Unwashed

Unworn

Not damaged

Free from perfume, sweat, or smoke smell
✔ Original tags, labels, and barcodes intact
✔ Original packaging retained
❌ Returns will NOT be accepted if:

Product is used or washed
-
Tags are removed
-
Product is damaged due to customer handling

Wrong item is sent back to our warehouse

Product is intentionally damaged

Return request is raised after 7 days
2. Items Eligible for Return / Exchange
You may request return or exchange for:
✔ Plain, slogan, or graphic t-shirts
✔ Oversized t-shirts
✔ Hoodies and sweatshirts
✔ Size issues
✔ Wrong item received
✔ Damaged item received
✔ Manufacturing defects
If the requested product or size is unavailable, you may choose:

Another product

Store credits
-
Refund (only if the issue is from our side)
3. Items NOT Eligible for Return
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following are non-returnable:

Used or worn apparel

Clearance or super-deal items

Free gifts or promotional items
-
Custom or personalised prints
-
Intentionally damaged products

Products purchased during special or mega sale events
4. Return Process
Step 1: Raise a Request

Step 2: Approval
Our team will review your request within 24–48 hours.
Step 3: Pickup
Once approved, a courier partner will pick up the product within 2–4 business days.
Step 4: Quality Check (QC)
After the product reaches our warehouse, QC takes 24–48 hours.
Step 5: Refund / Exchange
If QC is approved, we initiate:

Exchange

Store credit
-
Refund (if applicable)
5. Quality Check Failure
Refund or exchange will not be approved if:

Product is used or washed
-
Stains, perfume, or sweat marks are found
-
Original tags are missing
-
Damage does not match customer claim
-
Incorrect item is returned
In such cases:

Customer must pay re-shipping charges to get the item back
-
Refund or exchange will not be applicable
6. Refund Options
Depending on the situation, we offer the following:
6.1 Instant Exchange
If the requested size or product is available, replacement is shipped after QC approval.
6.2 Store Credits (Recommended)

Valid for 1 year

Can be used on any product on PlainMood

Issued immediately after QC approval

Non-refundable and non-transferable
6.3 Refund to Original Payment Method
Refunds are issued only in the following cases:
✔ Wrong item delivered
✔ Damaged product received
✔ Manufacturing defect
✔ Order cancelled before shipping
✔ Courier pickup not possible (rare cases)
Refunds are NOT provided for:

Size issues

Change of mind
-
Style or colour preference
-
Wardrobe mismatch

Delivery delays caused by courier

COD orders (store credit only)
7. Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders
For COD orders:

No direct cash refunds
-
Refunds (if approved) issued only as store credits

COD convenience fee (if any) is non-refundable
-
UPI details may be requested for defect or wrong-item cases
8. Refund Timelines

Bank processing delays may occur and are beyond our control.
9. Replacement Policy
Free replacement is provided if:
✔ Wrong product delivered
✔ Wrong size sent by us
✔ Defective product received
Replacement is shipped after QC approval.
10. Order Cancellation Policy
✔ Cancellation before shipping → Full refund
❌ Cancellation after shipping → Not possible
Repeated COD cancellations or refusals may lead to account restrictions.
We reserve the right to cancel suspicious or unverified orders.
11. Failed Delivery Due to Customer Error
If delivery fails due to:

Incorrect address

Customer unavailable

Phone unreachable

Order refusal at doorstep
Re-shipping charges will apply.
Refunds are not applicable for refused orders.
12. Product Colour Disclaimer
Actual product colours may slightly vary due to lighting, photography, or screen settings.
Minor colour differences are not eligible for return.
13. Misuse of Return Policy
We reserve the right to restrict or block accounts in cases of:

Excessive returns

Fraudulent claims

Wardrobing (wear & return)

COD abuse

Abusive behaviour towards support
Legal action may be taken for misuse or fraud.

PlainMood may update this Refund & Return Policy at any time.
Updates will be reflected on this page with a revised date.
