This Shipping Policy explains how orders placed on www.plainmood.com are processed, shipped, and delivered. Our goal is to ensure a smooth, transparent, and reliable delivery experience across India.

This policy is aligned with applicable Indian e-commerce and consumer protection laws.


1. Delivery Coverage

PlainMood delivers to most serviceable pincodes across India, including:

  • Metro cities

  • Tier 1 & Tier 2 cities

  • Towns and semi-urban areas

  • Select rural locations (subject to courier availability)

If your location is not serviceable, we will notify you after order placement and assist with alternatives.


2. Shipping Partners

We ship orders using trusted and reliable courier partners, such as:

  • Delhivery

  • Blue Dart

  • Ekart

  • DTDC

  • Xpressbees

  • India Post (for select remote areas)

Courier selection depends on delivery speed, serviceability, and order location.


3. Order Processing Time

Once your order is placed:

Processing time: 1–2 business days

Order processing includes:

  • Order verification

  • Printing (for made-to-order products)

  • Quality checks

  • Secure packaging

  • Handover to courier partner

During high-volume periods (sales, festivals, launches), processing may take 2–4 business days.


4. Estimated Delivery Time

Delivery timelines vary based on location:

5. Shipping Charges

  • Prepaid Orders: Free or charged based on cart value (shown at checkout)

  • Cash on Delivery (COD): COD handling fee may apply

  • Remote Area Surcharge: Rare, but may apply for select pincodes

All applicable shipping charges are clearly displayed at checkout before payment.


6. Cash on Delivery (COD)

If COD is available for your location:

  • COD fee (if applicable) must be paid at delivery

  • Please keep the exact amount ready

  • Refuse delivery if the package appears damaged or tampered

  • Repeated COD refusals may result in COD being disabled for your account

COD availability depends on courier serviceability.


7. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you will receive:

  • Courier partner name

  • Tracking ID

  • Tracking link via SMS / Email / WhatsApp

Tracking updates may take 8–24 hours after pickup to reflect.


8. Delays in Delivery

Delivery delays may occur due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Festivals or high order volumes

  • Courier operational issues

  • Remote location accessibility

  • Incorrect or incomplete address details

  • Natural disruptions (strikes, floods, etc.)

While PlainMood is not responsible for courier delays, our support team will assist you with tracking and updates.


9. Packaging & Quality

Every PlainMood order is packed with care and includes:

If you receive a package that is damaged, unsealed, or tampered with:

  • Please refuse delivery immediately

  • Contact us within 24 hours


10. Wrong, Missing, or Damaged Items

If you receive:

  • Wrong product

  • Missing item

  • Damaged product

  • Incorrect size sent by us

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos or videos at:

11. Undelivered Orders / Return to Origin (RTO)

Orders may return to us if:

  • Address is incorrect or incomplete

  • Customer is unreachable

  • Multiple delivery attempts fail

  • Delivery is refused

Prepaid orders:
We will contact you for re-shipping or refund (shipping charges may be deducted).

COD orders:
The order will be cancelled automatically.

Repeated RTOs may result in account restrictions.


12. Address Change Requests

  • Address changes are possible before shipment only

  • Once an order is shipped, address changes cannot be made

Please contact support immediately if you need an address update.


13. Multiple Item Orders

If your order contains multiple items:

  • Items may be shipped together or separately

  • Separate tracking details will be shared if applicable


14. International Shipping

At present, PlainMood ships only within India.
International shipping may be introduced in the future.
